This past weekend, I moderated a panel full of social media and social television pros. It was my first time leading a conversation about career advice (or any panel discussion, really) and I think we had a good one. The New York Women in Communications Student Career Conference, which also included keynotes by Rachel Sklar and Anne Fulenwider was full of undergraduate women who want to move and shake it in media. It was one of those inspiring days, above Washington Square Park, where I just wanted to go home and send thank you emails to everyone I met, re-do my resume and make business cards, and work, work, work. There’s something powerful about gathering hundreds of smart women in the same building. Good vibes.
